George W (for Washington) Parrott married Olive/Olivia Pierce (my 3rd cousin) in Campbell County, Tennessee on 07 Nov 1932. George's parents were George Washington Sr. and Mary E. (no last name).

The tombstones for George (Jr.) and Olivia can be found on www.findagrave.com. They are buried in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Campbell County, Tennessee.

His birth date is Apr 18, 1888 and he died Jan 10 1959.

As mentioned in another post, Olive/Olivia's parents were George W. Pierce and Ethena Hill.

You might want to check out connections of the Lobertini family to the descendants of Thomas Wilson b.l2-22-1844. I know that there is a connection. I do not have factual information about who married who...but the descendants of Angelo and Thomas married and live/lived in the Jacksboro/LaFollette area.

Several of your Phillips' are listed in my family tree.
There are many John Phillips. One possible John "Egg" Phillips?
Winford Pleasant Phillips, and several other Johnathan (Jonathan) Phillips are also listed. There were 2 or 3 Phillips family lines, not related, in that census, but living in the same general area.

My line - John (Johnathin) Phillips was my GGG Grandfather. Born abt. 1800 died 1893, GG Grandfather Euel Phillips (b 1839), G-Grandfather Jonathan Phillips, Grandfather Marion Luther Phillips, and my father was Roby Phillips.

I am searching for any Hibbards who were born, died or lived in Jellico, Campbell, Tennessee. The names Franklin, Frank, or b. Franklin Hibbard may help me significantly.

My Grandmother Susan (Hibbard-Maiden Name) Newman was living in Jellico in the 1910 census and I cannot find info confirming her birth in 1873-1876 and info on her living in Tennessee except for this 1910 Census. Her Father and Mother were born in Tennessee, where most of her children were born.

I have her death certificate where it says she died in WVa and her father is Franklin Hibbard. Her Mother is Unknown.

Angelo Lobertini married Stella Leach B3-2-1898. She was daughter of Joseph and Mary Holt Leach. His ww1 reg says was a miner and non us citizen. He died in Elyria, Lorin Ohio 1966 and Stella died 1974 Whitley county KY they are buried in Crouches Creek Cem. Looking for cousins and pictures to share of this Leach family. The Lobertini also had a hotel in Lafollete and owned mines early 1900.

Did Mary Ann Leach Holt(my great aunt) and Daniel Wilson Holt move to Missouri? Looking for Marys death records.
She was the daughter of my maternal side grt grnfather D F Leach.
Most have her date of birth wrong she was born 8-3-1853 boston district Whitley county KY(records of early births KY). fathers name is shown as D S Leach instead of D F and mother is Frankley(Frances) Nicholson daughter of Jacob Nicholson. The name of Fleming Holt come from Marys brother James Fleming Leach and then Frances brother Fleming Nicholson. ? did Elizabeth Lawson die.

I'm sorry that I haven't replied sooner but I rarely check the e-mail that notifies me of activity on this site and rarely check here.

I have always suspected, for various reasons, that William Fuller, James Cole's fater, Reuben, and Calvin Hutson were brothers. I never made any connection with their Virginial roots.

There is a fellow, Frank Hudson, from around Corbin, KY who is a descendent of Calvin who believes he identified a Hudson line in VA from which they came. The variation in spelling of the name is interesting. Calvin's offsprings apparently used the Hudson spelling.

I don't know much about the DNA testing but have read a couple of articles about it. If we could clear up some questions I would be willing. There are three other Hutson male descendents that I am aware of. Two are first cousins who live close. The other is Rev James Hutson in Knoxville, TN who is one branch higher up the tree than we are.

There is one other uncertainty about The older Rev James Cole Hutson. There is just the slightest chance that his linage through William Fuller might be at variance. I can fill you in if you are interested.

I am possibly a descendant of William and Mary Bryant. My gggrandmother was Elizabeth Louendy Bryant Born in 1835 in Cambell Co TN. Her first born William Jasper Bryant (born out of wedlock taking the bryant name) fathered Charles TIllman Bryant who was my grandfather. I believe that Elizabeth married Andrew J Harrison and had more children. This is all that I know of William and Mary but would love to gather more info.

We have just completed testing of ona descndent of Allen Hutson ,Montgomery,VA > ,Ripley, IN (Calvin and Reuben Hutson/Hudson were also from Montgomery Co, VA).
We returned a 37pt and a 67pt match to two descendents of Armstead Hutson (VA > Roane Co, TN > Marion Co, AR)
NO OTHER MATCHES with known Virginia Hudson lines shows this as a NEW Hudson line.

I'm looking for the gravesite of leona may watson (maiden name). She married charles rardin and had several sons then remarried later and I don't know her married name. I believe she lived in California ky. I remember my stepfather stating they were from mentor ky. My stepfather wanted to be buried near his mother's grave but I can't locate it. My mother wants desperately to get this done before she passes away. Please help. Thank you.

Alcinda Penington to Alplesent Council Wilson married April 20, 1970 in Campbell County. I looked at the on line image thinking there might be a typographical error in my book, but those are the names in the actual record.

Does anyone have W.L Bowlin in their family tree.
I have searched for info on him and all I can find is that he married Mary Terry in campbell co. on October 3, 1894.
Mary was the daughter of Marion Terry and Elizabeth Lay. Sometime in between 1894 and 1897 he was killed and the person who killed him was taken out of jail and hanged by an angry mob. I hope someone can help me with this or look up deaths in 1897.

I too have been looking at the Turner, Pebley and allied familys of TN. Of particular interest is the Nancy Bratcher you mentioned, I thought she could very well have been the wife of Abraham Pebley [but no proof]. I have John A. Turner's father as Jesse and wife "ELIZABETH" unless there was another marriage. Can you help me clear this up and/or do you know the parents of John A. Turner [b. 2 Nov 1822 TN]or the wife of Abraham Pebley [b. 1805 TN]?

I am looking for any information on Kelly Bowlin and Luvernia Bunch-Bowlin of Jellico, Campbell County. Kelly passed away in January, 1962 in Campbell County. I do not know his birthday or birthplace. I believe his parents were Steve and Mary Bowlin of Campbell County. I do know that Luvernia Bunch-Bowlin's parents were Dr. Franklin Bunch and Harriet Angeline "Sis" Tow of Campbell County, they were married on July 15, 1882 in Campbell Co.. They had twelve children. I have been unable to trace Kelly Bowlin at all. Any information would be appreciated.

My gr.dad was Byrd Bowlin, married Mary Davis then Mary Etter, all buried in Ky. Martha J. Bowlin, lst wife's oldest child is my gr.ma and she married Ade or Eid Cox and had several children. They lived in Ala., then Williamsburg, Ky. on Bean or Beam's farm, maybe related thru marriage. Sure trying to get more info. on Ade Cox, irish....Will gladly exchange all info. re. Bowlins of Ky. Alvis Thornton Ivey died July 18, 1921 in Campbell Co, Elizabeth Bessie Maupin Ivey died July 29, 1913, both are buried in the Glade Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Fincastle, Campbell County, Tennessee. Fadrew Ivey married Susie Hall on September 13, 1923 in Campbell Co. TN, but by 1930 was living in Kalamazoo, Michigan working in a paper mill, says he is single, apparently marriage did not work out.

Nothing more on Lillian Coline and Carrie Elizabeth after 1920. There was however an Elizabeth Ivey who died August 14, 1921 in Campbell, but do not know if this is Carrie.
The death cert. no. is Vol 3 p. 386, Alvis Ivey death cert. no. is Vol 3 376. There were no death cert. in 1913, that I have found so far.

I am interested in who Cauline/Coline actually belonged to. It is said that her family could not afford to take care of her so Bessie and Thornton took her in and raised her. I see from the census records that neither got the opportunity to raise her to adulthood. It appears that Bessie died before 1920 and Thornton's brother Garfield, his wife Ruby, and Thornton's sister Helen moved in with him. Coline, Elizabeth, and Fadrew were all still at home. By 1930 Helen was raising the kids. I think by this that Thornton was deceased by that time. If you can help in any way with definite dates of death for Bessie and Thornton, I would greatly appreciate it. That and any information on Cauline's biological family.
